As you must know by now, wool resists odor. That is a good feature in a sock. They also wick and insulate better than cotton or all synthetic, so you can wear them comfortably in a pretty wide range of climates. Surly socks are made by DeFeet. They are Merino wool, with a small percentage of synthetic for increased durability. Each design comes in four sizes so pretty much everyone should find one that fits.

Krampus is a beast-like creature from the folklore of Alpine countries thought to punish children during the Yule season who misbehaved, in contrast with Saint Nicholas who rewards well-behaved children with gifts. But this is just a t-shirt so it's safe.
Hi, I'm the Surly Lightweight Neck Toob. You might remember me from such films as “It's Cold! Don't Forget Your Neck Toob!" and “Look At This Thing, It Came From a Sheep!" Right now you might be thinking, “But Surly, I already have a Neck Gaiter from you guys. Do I really need a Neck Toob?" And the answer is maybe. Unlike the existing Neck Gaiter, which is made of a light inner layer and a midweight outer layer, I'm made of two lightweight layers. For those days when it's too chilly to leave your face and neck exposed but not cold enough for the full-blown Gaiter, I try to provide a nice, moisture-wicking alternative. I'm sized to fit most necks, and I can be worn a bunch of different ways. Thanks for tuning in, we'll see you next time. Your Friend, The Surly Neck Toob

If you’re anything like us, there’s a good chance that, while on your bike, you don’t always have a plan. You might ride all afternoon, or you might just ride someplace and stay there all night. If you’re one of the drifters – one of the wanderers – you should have a wool hat. Even in the summer it’s a good idea to keep a wool hat in your bag in case you find yourself sheltering someplace for the night. Grandma always said, "you lose 75% of your body heat through your head." Now, we aren’t doctors, but we’re smart enough to know not to mess with Grandma. Wear your wool hat.
For warmth, comfort, and dependable moisture-wicking properties, the Surly Wool Beanie in black might be a good option. Here's why: - Made of lightweight merino wool - One size fits most - Fits under your helmet Still undecided? Check out these mind-blowing facts from my 4th-grade presentation about sheep. 1) Sheep are smart. They can recognize up to 50 different sheep faces. They can recognize human faces, too — maybe even yours. 2) Sheep have rectangular-shaped pupils that can see almost 360 degrees around them. They can even see what's behind them without turning their head. 3) There are over 900 breeds of sheep in the world. The Merino is a very popular breed, and its fine, soft wool is often used for clothing — for example, the Surly beanie. In closing, sheep are very interesting animals and their wool is a useful material. Take it from me, I passed the 4th grade.
There's nothing like a good hoodie. Soft, warm, and comfy, hoodies are the comfort food of clothing. Surly thought they could make some improvements to the standard options out there, the first one being that theirs is made of their own proprietary weave of 100% Merino wool. Wool insulates well, both warm and cold, and it's durable. Wool resists stink build-up, which also means you won't have to wash it as often as regular cotton sweatshirts (when you do wash it, hand wash it in cold water and lay flat to air dry. This will increase its lifespan and reduce any chance of it shrinking). Plus, Merino wool is nice and soft against even sensitive skin. Other companies have done wool hoodies but most of those are fitted like technical athletic clothing. This one fits like a regular cotton sweatshirt. It's loose enough to fit over other clothes. You can wear it everywhere and not look like a total dork. Add a shell and cut cold winds. It features high quality dual-pull zipper and deep front pockets. The sleeve cuffs keep cold air out, and the hood is big enough to fit over most helmets. They've put a lot of work into bringing you a high quality piece of clothing that will function well on and off the bike, and that with proper care will last a long time. If you like hoodies, this is it.
